Round 1 is an invitation to begin or renew a steady relationship with the Gurdjieff Movements through guided and sustained practice.
This work is not approached as choreography to master, but as a living discipline—one that develops attention, presence, and inner coordination over time.
It is designed for those who want to enter the work sincerely, with continuity and the support of a committed group field.
The Work
The Movements are a precise language of body, feeling, and mind.
They ask of us:
- attention in the body
- coordination between inner and outer action
- sensitivity to rhythm, gesture, and form
- the ability to remain present within movement
Round 1 establishes the foundations for this work.
The emphasis is not on performance, but on participation.
Who This Is For

- are new to the Movements and want a strong beginning

Structure
Round 1 provides a steady rhythm of practice and access to supporting materials.
All materials, class information, and communication are provided through Google Drive.
IMPORTANT:
You must register using the same email address associated with your Google account.
Access to the materials will be granted to that email.
Participation implies consent to recording and media use as described in our Terms.

Access After Registration
After completing your registration:
- You will be added to a specific Google Group for Access
- Access will be granted to the Round 1 materials
- You will receive all necessary information for participation
