Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the corporation are:
- To present, perform, teach, produce, and otherwise support professional-quality magic (the performance art of stage magic), theater, music, comedy, circus arts, dance, choreography, Aikido, movements, songwriting, music production, musical recordings, and related arts disciplines, whether offered independently or combined in live, recorded, broadcast, or digital presentations. To present the production of “Attention, Magic and the Golden Rule” in schools and educational settings, in part or in full, on video or live. To instruct performers, writers, musicians, technicians, producers, and presenters. To educate about the Golden Rule and related ideas and values that foster positive relationships within schools and communities.
- To promote research into and study of factors, which influence total development (or retrogression) in humans, and their operation in individuals and communities; to study scientific hypotheses, secular and religious philosophies, and to investigate their origin, elaboration, and bearing on general theories of human development.
- To provide facilities for such research and study; and to organize and conduct courses of instruction, practical demonstrations, lectures, and seminars by members of the staff, or by extra-mural authorities, dealing with the continuous development and awakening of attention within the whole human being.
- To promote the understanding of human beings and their three-fold nature: mental, emotional, and physical; and to promote conditions in which these three natures can come into a continuous and dynamic balance, enabling individual growth and individuals’ creative activity within the society to take place.
- To prepare, create, present, perform, record, produce, print, publish, acquire, collect, preserve, distribute, and circulate books, papers, scripts, plays, dances, choreographed movements, songs, musical compositions, videos, films, podcasts, periodicals, music productions, musical recordings, and other literary, educational, and artistic works; to establish enterprises in the community as a means by which members learn how to creatively apply objective values to everyday life situations through whole-brained methods of inner attention and presence, elucidated in all activities of the corporation, both theoretical and practical; to promote and support intentional communities based on values such as the Golden Rule or principles such as three-brained attention; and to aid in making the service of such communities openly available to the society to which we all belong.
